I'm having an anti-latency issue. 002r with PT 6.4. MAC g4 867 w/768 RAM. I'm trying to replace a kick comming from an MPC4000. I have the ADAT 8-out installed in the MPC which is connected to the ADAT in on the 002. The sequence is generated from the MPC. The MPC is set to slave to MTC. Both tempos are set to 102.0 BPM. Upon recording, the kick is cosistently recorded between 701 - 834 samples BEFORE the grid. I tried it using different configurations, i.e PT slave to the MPC, conductor/no conductor. Each different configuration yeilded a slightly different offset, but early nonetheless. I totally expect the tracks to be slightly behind the grid, but early is causing me concern. Is anyone having a similar experience? Sugestions?
