Pro tools LE 5.1.1
For a solid month now, any and all sessions have been plagued with persisitant error -9073 messages: "DAE cannot complete this operation. Your disc may be too slow or too fragmented." This began when OS X entered the picture on July 11th. The same error showed up in P.T.LE 6.4 on OS X Panther as well, on a separate drive! I have since done the following:
1. Dumped OS X, defragmented, clean-installed, reinstalled OS 9.2.2 and Pro tools 5.1.1 on original HD. No improvement.
2. Erased and initialized a second drive (Mac OS Extended) and created two partitions, one for OS 9 and one for OS X Panther 10.3.4
3. Reinstalled Pro Tools 5.1.1 on OS 9 only. No improvements.
All 3 drives on my computer are installed correctly and have been working perfectly for at least two years. Is DAE confused by the detection of OS X components on my system? No one has ever suggested that Pro Tools cannot function on a computer with two operating systems. I'm at a complete loss.
