HELLLP!

I am running a new Powerbook 1.25 with a gig of ram and OS10.3 and Pro Tools 6.? and I have a external firewire 400 hard drive.

When I try to record in PT I get an NON AUDIO PLAYBACK VOLUME HARD DRIVE error... what does this mean and how do i fix it?

Also... when it did work... PT would sometimes stop recording after about 3 seconds... all the time... is this normal?

thanks for your help

Inside ProTools, open up the Workspace and check to see if the FW drive has an "R" in column A (Audio). If the drive is assigned for P (Playback) or T (Transfer), you'll need to switch it over to R (Record).
