Whats the deal with Plugins

I have Mbox and I really would like some plugins to use with it but which ones can I use? There are so many and when I see some for LE systems they are for TDM. What in the world??? Please help me out on this one. Thanks!

you can use plugins that support RTAS (real time audio suite) for your OS.

start over at the digidesign website. go to developers, then plug in info, and refine your search a little, and you'll see just about every plug that's available on your system.

Also .. check out the VST-RTAS adapter from Fxpansion :

$100 for that will give you access to many many VST plug-ins, including these free ones :

and also look at installing (free) Pluggo runtime, which will give you access to another 50-60 free instruments/FX :
