Default Good Vocoder???

What is a good vocoder to use for the classic vocal sound? I tried Orange, but it doesnt have midi input, so not very good. What is everybody using? Are you inputing midi for your notes?

have you tried the Virus plugin?
I am not an expert on vocoders but I know it will let you use midi.
