Time Stretching and Compressing
I know PT5 includes a new function to allow time altering a region to fit in a certain space, but what is the best way to handle this in 4.3.1.
I need some advanced pocketing techniques. Thanks! |

Re: Time Stretching and Compressing
Find out exactly how many samples long the space is you need to fill, then type that into the destination window in the time compressor/expander plugin and process the region you are stretching/shrinking. If it's for music, it can be a lot trickier (you need to know the tempos) and the Digi plugin really comes up short sonically. I just heard a new plugin at AES that sounded remarkably good at slowing and speeding music without changing pitch. It's called Pitch 'n Time and their website is: www.serato.com
