Disc Optimization
Hi,
I have a drive full of PT material that I am currently working on. On know that it is WAY fragmented as it stands now. I backed everything up and want to do a disc optimiztion on it. My question is has anyone experienced any weirdness after doing this with things being missing or corrupted in their sessions? I know it erased and rewrites all the stuff so I wanted to check. thanks. nz

Re: Disc Optimization
It is most wise to backup your sessions before attempting to optimize. Run your disk utility first to verify that your disk is free from errors *before* optimizing.
One other way to optimize is to back everything up, erase the partition and then restore the files back to the clean disk. They'll all be defragged after the restoration. |
