Maxim Link Threshold/Ceiling Automation not remembering (please replicate)

Hi,

when automating Maxim with "Link" Threshold/Ceiling engaged, the parameter that was not touched does not remember its automated state when playing the clip from a timline insertion after the clip start.

Please replicate :
mono audio track, place a clip or consolidate a timeline selection
insert maxim on track
automation enable all parameters (except bypass) of maxim
touch automation mode
preview automation (automation window PLUG IN enabled)
select clip
playback
automating plugin parameter : touch LINK , move threshold to let's say -10dB (observe ceiling also dropping to -10dB)
manual write , write-automation-to-selection , stop playback , ok the message
timeline insertion just prior clip , playback : observe, when timeline reaches the clip start -> threshold and ceiling both drop to -10dB (as planned)
stop playback
timeline insertion somewhere outside the clip (!)
timeline insertion somewhere in the middle of the clip (at least inside the borders) , playback : observe only threshold is at -10dB, ceiling stays at 0 , LINK is engaged

track view : threshold -> -10 (as automated)
track view : ceiling-> 0 (not as automated)

Mac and PC guys, be so kind to replicate (or tell me, what I did wrong).

Same happens when automating in stop, clip selected, changing parameters, write-to-all-enabled (PC : Ctrl+Alt+/ , Mac : Cmd+Alt+/).

Nobody else sees this ?

Have you replicated this in another session?

Try creating a new session. Then when viewing the edit window... drag the session your testing with into the track area... It will pop up the import Session Data window... Import all data

Try to automate it again and see if it sticks.

When I have issues like this it is usually corrupt session data (happens every once in a while)

Let me know what happens

Tried with preview and write-to-all-enabled on 5 independent newly created blank sessions.
Did you try to reproduce it ?

I can't right now. Im out of the studio working on some other systems. That's why I thought Id see if that was attempted and what results...

Sounds like a bug to me. have you trashed that plug and reinstalled just for curiosity?

I have a stable system except this, trashing Maxim would mean an uninstall of the AIR Creative Collection (and not just moving Maxim to the unused plugins folder and back), to my knowledge,
or even a whole PT-uninstall,
I am just asking the HD guys on this forum first, if they experience the same.

couldn't replicate the problem, sorry. Tried in 10 and 11 HD. I would guess that its a bug.

Looking into this. Your sig lists Pro Tools 11.1.3 Win, is that where this is occurring?

Yes, it happens on PT 11.1.3 HD, Win 7 Pro. Haven´t seen this earlier, because I probably never tried before.

Strangely, just tested , PT 10.3.8 HD , Win 7 Pro :
Preview, touch (or latch) , automating engage link and lowering threshold ,write-automation-to-selection during playback , stop , ok the message ,
timeline insertion prior to the clip ( the automated selection) , playback , timeline reaching the selection : ceiling stays at the default zero, not at the value of the threshold, but link engaged.
Vice versa, when automating engage link and lowering ceiling : threshold stays at default zero.
At least this works with PT 11.1.3 HD. There is the problem only, when placing the timeline insertion within (not prior to) the just automated selection and playing back.
