Error Bouncing to Disk Line 329. PT10 session
anybody else getting this error?
A client came over with a session started on PT10. We did a save as and opened the session on my PT8 HD system.. no problems until bounce time.. Full Error message: Could not complete the Bounce to Disk command because Assertion in "/Volumes/Development/vb_snow_leopard/AlturaPorts/DFW/Macbuild/../Views/UPopupDisplay.cpp",line 329. I'm on a Mac Pro Tower.. 10.5.6. Pro Tools 8.0.3 HD2 any thoughts? thanks in advance

i think you needed to do a "save copy in" instead of "save as" coming from pt10 to pt8. at the top of the save copy in window, choose pro tools 7-9 and it should be cool. if you already did that i really don't know any other clues on that one.

sorry i Mis Spoke(typed).. we did do a save copy in and chose Pro tools version 7-9.. also i'm running 10.5.8 not 10.5.6.. any other thoughts?

Most Assertion errors can be fixed by trashing your Preferences.
