dual core optimizer & hotfix - do i still need them with xp SP3 ?
do i still need the amd dual core optimizer and windows hotfix after updating to SP3 ?
and if so, do i turn on "gaming mode" in the dual core optimizer or does just have to work in the backround ? i have a quad - 2 X optron 270 on a tyan thunder mobo

I believe that is included in SP3.

The hotfixes were all rolled up into to SP3.
I can't help with the Gaming Mode question.
