Default AAX 64 Version of Toontrack's EZplayer Pro Being Developed or Not?

Hey guys. I use EZplayer Pro a lot, mainly to map Superior Drummer MIDI files into Addictive Drums format, and vice versa. Anyway, I checked the Pro Tools Expert list on confirmed AAX plug ins that are out or in development, and I see that Toontrack has Superior Drummer already AAX 64. Does anyone know if they have plans for AAX 64 for EZplayer Pro? As you can imagine it would be much more time consuming remapping every instrument from the drumset without EZplayer Pro.

Hi

I spoke to one of the "foundimg fathers" of Toontrack a while back and it didn't sound like they were gonna port EZplayer Pro at all (could be changed now) but as I understood it SD have the Pro Player features now and basically they said go buy that but in kinder words

I will talk to them tomorrow as they have their office a few hundred yards from here and post back what comes out of that if anything

Best Regards
Christopher

Oh yeah I forgot Superior Drummer does have some features of EZplayer Prol. Haven't tried doing that in SD myself, I've only converted the files in EZplayer Pro, but I will try that. And yeah if you do talk to them please do post what they say. Thank!

Hi,

Superior 2 does not Map wrap between MIDI formats as does EZplayer Pro.
EZplayer Pro will be released as AAX, as promised earlier by Toontrack on the Toontrack Forum.

BR,
John

I just got an email back from Toontrack. They said they do have plans to make EZplayer Pro AAX 64 bit, although they don't have an ETA yet. The guy did say that they should hopefully have it out sometime in the first quarter of 2014 though :)
