I have not installed PT on the Air and I dont think I will cos I will need to get my own Mac to do that. However, we have it for 2-3 days now and we are blown away already. And we both have not used an Apple OS before (excluding iOS). We both have iPhones (I just got the 5 and it's amazing) and we also have an iPad3 and the most important of all in my opinion, the Apple TV. So we now have the complete Apple ecosystem and I have concluded that:

The debate about Mac vs PC is not valid. There is no debate because, either, or, is not the right answer. The right answer is that one has to have both and know both OSes in order to enjoy the best of all worlds.

Now to a PT-related question and maybe this should be its own subject:

What if I wanted to install PT10 on another device. From a license perspective, other than moving the iLoc, does PT care?

You can install PT on as many computers as you have. It will only open on the one with the iLok connected

Exactly, what a Hackintosh means...

The easy part of buying a MAC( obviously not the cost lol) is the backwards compatibility... You can install windows on a mac with little to no issues right out of the box... If you prefer that OS for specifics or use programs that only run PC etc..., and you can also do it without bootcamp on most systems. A big plus for me when ordering multiple systems that need both MAC OS and Windows OS... no tooling around, no having to configure [bleep][bleep][bleep][bleep], just done, works... I like that.

Just some extra user info

Shea have you tried clicking on his name and sending him a personal message?? Much better than pissing people off tagging on threads that have nothing to do with your question...
