just bought Digi 003 HELP

So I've had a computer for 6 years running Protools 8 M-Powered on a PC w/ Windows XP (SP3) & with a M-Audio ProFire 610 interface & ILok1 and it has been great. HOWEVER i recently purchased a Digidesign Digi 003 interface and have learned that it is not compatible, because i need Protools LE (since it is not a M-Audio product like my old interface). My question is what is my cheapest option? Can i pay an upgrade fee to get LE? I've noticed that PT12 won't run on a Windows XP computer and also if i do upgrade to a newer PT am i going to lose all of my valuable plug-ins?!? WHAT DO I DO?? i do have a computer with Windows 7 i could potentially upgrade to if need be, but i just want the cheapest option i can do, and i can't afford to lose the plug-ins i currently run on PT8

If money is your main concern, see if you can buy a used 8 LE license.

Pro Tools 11+ no longer support RTAS plugins, so if you do wan't to go to the latest, make sure you're plugins have an updated AAX version. Sometimes the updates are free, sometimes paid. That depends on the plugin developer.

That said, if you BUY a PT 12 license (not subscription), you will receive a 10/11/12 license bundle that will authorize any of those versions of Pro Tools. That would allow you to use your older RTAS plugins, but you'd still need to move on from XP (I'd recommend moving from XP regardless, it is no longer receiving security updates). You will also need an iLok2 for PT 10+.

I would recommend Pro Tools 9 or 10, BUT that would require moving to Windows 7(which I also would recommend).

You should not have duplicate posts and you have answers on your other one. Having said that(and since I can't delete this copy post), buying a used LE8 license is going to be cheapest. Upgrading the computer to windows 7 and buying a used Pro Tools 10 asset would be more money, but a better solution
