Authorizing PT LE 7.3.1 HELP!

I just bought an M-Box 2 to use with MacBook Pro (10.4.8), downloaded PT LE 7.3+1 and can't get any furter. ProTools LE is not authorized with an ilok it seems (I have activated the ilok) but with a serial number which I have received by email. So all is fine exept when I try to authorize (by starting the program and clicking on Authorize) I am asked for the ilok key (although I read somwhere that PT LE is not authorized by ilok ok). So I put the ilok key in and proceed and choose manual authorization and then a window appears with CHALLENGE/RESPONSE something and absolutely no information on what to do here.
So my question is: how do I authorize my PT LE 7.3.1 with the code I received by eamail?

You've installed paid plug-ins that don't come with PT. that's why they are asking for authorization, you would have needed to purchase each one of those plug-ins seperately if you intend to use any of them.

You need to go to Mac HD > Library > Application Support > Digidesign > Plug-ins >

then watch what plug-ins those windows are asking for authorization. Now locate those plug-ins in your folder and drag them to the trash.

Pro Tools is probably working fine, once you hit quit, and remove all those.

Thank you very much for your help which helped me move a little bit further although my problem still exists.
The authorization panel opened because of some additional software launching, not because of Pro Tools as you pointed out to me. I trashed this software and it doest open any more.If everything had been ok Pro Tools would have opened after canelling the additional software's launching.
And here the real problem lies: Pro Tools wont open, it crashes. I have tried uninstalling PT 7.3.1 and installing previous releases (7.1.1) with the same results. I have repaired disk permissions (which I read somewhere could be the cause) but noting works.
If you or anyone reading this can help I would appreciate it. Thank you again.
