Re: User tips for D command & D control
Quote:
This mapping seems to be broken in PT10, I can't import my old maps and I can't "learn" the channel's encoders to behave differently... This together with the disappearing maps in CF Plug-in view is functionality that seems to be forgotten. Or am I missing something? (I did trash the preferences since installing PT10). Greetings, Thierry

Re: User tips for D command & D control
Hi Chris,
is that a D-Control only function? I don't see any EDIT button other than the one that shows the edit window. Thanks for all this info!! Jordi Gil Quote:

Re: User tips for D command & D control
I agree! 13 years later and I'm still learning from this thread.
The Ctrl-Cmd-touch a fader to bring up the automation lane in the edit window has changed my mixing life this evening. Thank you so much for the incredible time-saver Chris L!

Re: User tips for D command & D control
That works too with the new controllers/old (Artist Mix, Control, S3, S6, Dock)

Re: User tips for D command & D control
So 10 years later... :) Are these boards still working properly and compatible with the latest Pro Tools updates? I'm interested in getting plugin mapping for mixing with my hands instead of the computer mouse. But these boards are old and AVID not supporting them anymore. So I was just wondering if you are still happy with the D-command/C24, or have you all moved on to newer controllers? Thanks a lot! :)
