What percentage of users have used cloud collaboration?
Is there any information on this?
I'd be interested in how popular the take up has been given how much Avid prioritised it.

Re: What percentage of users have used cloud collaboration?
I tried it once, but there wasn't enough space available for my project.
Totally and utterly useless. |

Re: What percentage of users have used cloud collaboration?
I though about giving it a go, but as tundra said, it's imposible with the current space offering, and I'm not into paying for more storage...

It's probably a bit greater than 0%.

Did not and don't know why I ever would.

Re: What percentage of users have used cloud collaboration?
Just finished doing my first project with it. It's a bit cumbersome, in my instance I wasn't the 'owner' of the project and accidentally had all my 8 drum tracks set to upload. So I did 4 takes and used up all the space and couldn't delete anything.
In the end I found it easier to create a session from the project, do my tracking in there, then import and spot the audio in the project when I was done. The other user was happy with the results. I found this was really no different than using dropbox. Actually using the collab project seemed utterly useless when it came to tracking.

Re: What percentage of users have used cloud collaboration?
Too limited for larger projects.
Dropbox works much better from the practical point of view. Everyone knows how to deal with files, how to transfer them. With the cloud things get a bit cloudy :)
