Annoying SYSEX Problems w/ Unitor 8 MKII
I own an Emagic Unitor 8 MKII midi interface and a Proteus 2000.
For every song I record the multisetup sysex info from my Proteus 2000 to LE so that on playback all my channel/instrument settings will be recalled. On Windows 98 this worked fine. The recorded sysex info was sent from LE, out to the Unitor 8, on to the Proteus, and playback on LE worked without a hitch. On XP however, I get a -9093 error everytime sysex data is transmitted on any Unitor 8 midi output. What is also strange is that my Proteus receives the sysex data, and loads the multisetup...but then...a split second later. -9093! Other curiosities... 1.If sysex is sent on the Digi 001 output, or no output at all, LE does not give a -9093 error. 2.All the ins and outs of my Unitor show up in LE 5.3.1 and transmit midi note on/off, program change, controller messages, etc. just fine. I've disabled all unnecessary hardware in XP. I have tried reinstalling my Unitor 8's drivers, and have tried the USB and Serial port drivers. Has anyone else with a Unitor 8 had this problem with sysex or found a solution? Is there any other configuration tips in XP that anyone could suggest? |
