A spot of musical help please
HI all.
Ive never used pro tools in any sort of a musical / midi context before, so find myself asking about instruments. My pt use id exclusively picture post thus far. ICould someone, in a blow by blow fashion explain exactly how i get a midi instrument coming out of the speakers. There are a number of instruments in the RTAS instrument plug in folder, including xpand, but ive no idea how to get them working. Also i have no keyboard so need any downloadable / internal to pt one available. Cheers peter |

Re: A spot of musical help please
just create an instrument track, change the laneview to notes and draw in a few notes, that should create some noise

HI soundwroks
That worked fine. Is there a keyboard anywhere that can be opened (bigger than the mini mini thing on the track its self. I cant really play on that. Or is there a downloadable keyboard Peter |

Re: A spot of musical help please
Your best bet is to get an inexpensive midi keyboard/controller.
