Need some help - I/O not showing up right.

I've upgraded to PT10.

I did a safe uninstall.

On my laptop I'm using my M2 Micro. It worked fine on Pt9.

I updated to the latest Mini driver. When I hit "n", all I get is MBox2, not mini.

I have used my Mbox2 on my laptop for field recording but there was never an issue going back to the mini on PT9.

When I goto Hardware, it shows the micro. When in I/O it shows the Mbox2.

In Audio/Midi setup it shows the micro.

So I don't know why PT10 isn't seeing the micro in the setup. Any suggestions?

Anyway to uninstall the older drivers?

I presume you mean Mbox 2 Micro?

All I have is an Mbox 2 Micro, and when I go to Setup-->Playback Engine, all I get is Mbox 2.

I am going to suggest that there isn't a problem. Maybe the labeling could be more consistent. Have you actually tried using the Mbox 2 Mini? Did you just see these labeling discrepancies and think that something is wrong?

Well the fact there is no audio points to something not working.

I installed PT10 on my other mac, and had no issues.

Seems only to be with the micro

Can you access both Macs at the same time for comparison? There's only one driver install for all Mbox 2 interfaces, so it seems odd that the driver would be the problem if one of your interfaces works and the other does not.

Clean install seemed to do the trick.
