Update help pt11.3.1 no sound!! [RESOLVED]

Friends,
I just updated my PT to 11.3.1 I am now on 10.10 OS Mac .. PT11.3.1 loads BUT does not recognize my HDX hardware unit. It did an update the HDX card in the MAC, but when PT loads it does not see my HDX unit... I did manually erase PT 10 and files and I fear I have trashed something that would see my hardware. It says that the Playback engine is not available and want a "Multi-Output Device?? It tells me I have one card 128voices.. thought I had more voices on that card? Yet, the session loads and my D-command is up...
Something is wrong... what did I screw up!!..

Hey Mike

Have you tried to reinstall the HD driver that comes in both your Avid PT download and available separate? Try reinstalling PT or if that doesn't work try another slot for the card, do the PRAM reset, Trash preferences and databases after reinstallation and see if any of that works.
