Default PT8 Update problems
i have just tried several times to install my 8 update. all the installation process seems to go without a problem, then when i try and open the software after my restart the icon bounces once or twice then stops.

heres my details of my system if they help...

Macbook 2ghz, 786mb ram (soon to be 2gb just waiting for my new stuff to arrive) M-box 2.

this is most frustrating as i have some mixes that i need to be finishing ASAP!

anyone?

I hope you get it resolved...

my only advice - don't change your system when you have a project due, there are plenty of chances to upgrade later.

It's recommended that you run PT8 on 10.5.5

So you'll probably have to upgrade your OS and then get the combo update to 10.5.5

PT8 does not support 10.4 you need 10.5.5!
You also neen more RAM

Ram arrived and fitted, i'm now at 2gb. As for 10.5 that gonna be sorted ASAP
