Default Waves Fairchild and pultec

Howdy all.

I just demoed these plugs, and they are kick ass. As good as the Abbey Road plugs.

Just a quick question, I run a HD3 Accel rig. If i just bough the native licence, would it work (rtas) in tools, or do i need the full TDM licence for it to work.

The reason i ask, is the demo only came in TDM licence form 4 some reason. Rtas works fine in HD, but will a native licence do??

Thanks..
Dave

hey blackbird hope all is well. maybe you should wait for a mac guy to answer this question as well. i play on the pc side (and should have thought about that when i answered your question in under 10 minutes lol)
i run rtas only plugs on my HD pc with no problem. i don't see why it wouldn't work the same way on a mac. i would hate to have to buy them from you because of my wrong answer

It will indeed work.

(From a Mac User. It’s the crack of dawn — we’re just barely getting up. )

Hi blackbirdstudio,

I assume you are talking about the JJP bundle from Waves? If so, I run a Mac and have the native JJP bundle. Works great!

Cheers,
Greg

blackbirdstudio, native version = RTAS. You won't have a problem.

You only have to be aware that RTAS plugins will be set to bypass if the track is record enabled.
This could be a issue if you want to overdub in the context of a mix, though could be ficed if you place a TDM plugin before the RTAS (albeit with the extra latency)
