Default Class Mode of OS X

I tried searching for this, but couldn't really find an answer. Will Pro Tools (MBox) run in the classic mode (9.2) mode of OS X? I just went ahead and installed it in the old system on my new mac. Things have been running great, but I'm sort of getting tired of rebooting a lot.

The question is, "Will it run in Classic mode?" That is entirely different than just will it run in OS X. While many many apps don't know the difference between running under OS 9 and running in Classic mode, PTLE is not one of them.
There is a hardware layer that apps need access to.......I have been able to print to my USB printer while booted to OS X and running the app I'm printing from in Classic mode. But OS X was still in control of the harware layer. All you can do is try. I have a feeling that you will run into the hardware issue.......PTLE launches for me in classic mode but stops when it cannot create the DAE Deck. Maybe Digi will release a Classic version of PTLE but if Digi thinks they have people whining now about performance.........

No it's not, classic mode is still OSX. Protools does not support OSX. It has been discussed here almost daily.
