Eucon 3 problems - Mix and Control

After about two sessions of use, my control surfaces won't connect to PT, although like all the others I am still seeing that Control recognized that PT is the focus program.

I am also not able to use the Automation soft keys. I found the original locations and also programmed new locations on page 1 for Read / Write / Touch / Off and they don't work.

I used a support code and had a 45 minute convo with a very cool and helpful Tech over at Obediant or whomever... fixed everythign with a EuCon re install.... 45 minutes later it happened again.


Should I just go back to 2.7.1? I am not going to be upgrading Pro Tools to PT 11.... as I am an Accell TDM system owner. Stuck on 10

And yes I have seen all the other threads.. but none that talked about the Soft Keys.

I posted this elsewhere here: I'm having to reinstall Eucon 3 every day! You say yours worked after re installing then next time it didn't work again. That is my experience...so I keep on re installing and it works for that session/day then it's back to the same old same old again. MacPro 10.8.4 PT10.3.6/PT11.

Here is another item to quickly try and let us know if it works:

If you get into a bad connectivity state, please try the following:
-Go to System Preferences > EUCON and press Stop (make sure Pro Tools or other EUCON DAWs are not running)
- wait 30seconds and press Start.
- Once the Surfaces are attached in EuControl, check that the local Workstation is available in the Workstations tab, and it is Attached.
- Launch Pro Tools (or other EUCON DAW).

Does the system connect and work with Pro Tools after these steps?

I just tried this and still won't work with Pro Tools 10.3.6. Worked fine with 10.3.5.

Is there any update on this? I am having this problem after upgrading from MAC OS 10.7.x and PT 10 with EUCON 2.7.1 to MAC OS 10.8.5with PT 10 and EUCON 3.1. It has made my system very unstable.

Thanks for any direction you can give.
