Default Headphones

I just ran into an issue I have never encountered before. My headphone do not have any sound running through them no matter what session I have open. However, when I unplug them from my computer, the internal speakers of the computer plays my session. I never have had this issue, usually I just plug gin my headphones and move along. Does this issue have to do with the headphones themselves or within ProTools?

Have you tried your headphones with other audio applications or just on a iPad/phone etc?

I gather you're not using an external audio interface right? You give no system info so it's difficult to answer. It could be the headphones needing more power than your computer can supply, it could be the connector on the 'phones cable, anything.
