Default PT 12 high memory

Hi there I'm having a weird issue with my pro tools and I think after some debugging it's due to a high memory usage.

Symptoms - Takes literally 10 mins or so to change HW Buffer Size. Also audio latency is 32ms - even when simply printing to an audio track from a midi track (steven slate drums).

System spec -

Mid 2011 Mac Mini
2.5Ghz Intel Core i5
16gb Ram
Pro Tools 12.4.0
MBox Mini 3rd Gen

Here is a screen grab of my system usage. Disk, CPU etc is fine. Memory is like 90%

Any help appreciated. Thanks.

@Sparky - I was running Yosemite. Today I have installed El Capitain and will see how that goes.

@john1192 - I have installed everything on my 2014 Macbook Pro Retina. Lets see how that goes.

@all - Thankyou for trying to help me out. I appreciate your time. Will let you know how it goes.

@all - seems the computer itself is the issue as on my new(ish) MacBook Pro everything is fine.

Here's the catch - my mbox mini won't run on El Capitan so I am now unable to work. I am quite disgusted that avid haven't addressed this issue. I ordered a focusrite 2i2 today which should arrive on Monday.

Not happy with Avid today.
