Odd issue with Hosted VST in Blue Cat Patchwork
I don't know if this is a 12.4 issue or not, but its never happened until 12.4, so I thought I'd mention it here. I have a 32bit VST I can host in Blue Cat Patchwork that has been run through J-Bridge, so it will work in the 64bit host. Until 12.4 its never been an issue. The VST VI works just fine. However, last night I used this particular VST for the first time since upgrading to 12.4 and once I recorded the part I wanted on the instrument track and turned off the record button, nothing played, even though all the notes and all that were there. I had no problem playing and hearing the part while I recorded it. I found that if I re-armed the record button, and then turned it back off right away, everything played fine.
The problem was there even after saving the session, closing it, and re-opening it later. So, I don't know if its a 12.4 bug, Patchwork bug or what, but thought I'd mention it here. Track freeze worked fine on the track and its in frozen state right now and all works fine. But if I unfreeze, I have to re-arm and dis-arm record to hear the track play off the midi notes on the instrument track. Its a small thing I know, but just thought I'd mention it here.

Re: Odd issue with Hosted VST in Blue Cat Patchwork
Interesting! I have Blue Cat's MB7, and it will wrap a 64 bit VST fine, but will not see a 32 bit VST.

Re: Odd issue with Hosted VST in Blue Cat Patchwork
It will see the 32bit IF you first apply JBridge to the 32bit.

There’s a Demo version of jBridge here:
https://jstuff.wordpress.com/jbridge/ Full version of jBridge (for Windows) €14.99 EUR – approx. USD$17
