Clocking Problem????
Lets see if I can explain this!
I've got a simple session open just for monitoring a drum machine which is triggering sounds in Reason. Reason is set as an insert on an aux channel. I play the drum machine and everything goes well for a minunte then all hell breaks loose. Stuttering, clicking, popping and freezing. Now I cant even get it to play thru the entire sequence. The first time it happened I got a message saying something to the effect of "verify that you have a reliable clock source". I have not received that message again but the problem persists. I work like this quite often and have never had problems like this. I've checked the clock source-internal Checked my playback engine-maxed out to 1024 samples, level 4 buffer. Keep in mind I am not hitting play in PT, just the drum machine. Im running PTLE 8.0.1 on a mac pro 2.26Ghz quadcore with 6gigs of ram. If anyone could give me some other ideas to solve this I'd GREATLY appreciate it! This is hurting me! Thank you in advance! |
