recovering corrupted .wav files
I'm running LE 7 on a Windows XP machine, and at the 45-minute mark in a podcast interview I was doing, the system froze and had to be rebooted. The largest of the .wav files -- the person I was interviewing -- will not load. And if I try to import the file into a new session, it says that protools cannot read the file. The file is close to the 2gb problem zone at 1.98gb. Anyone have any thougts on tools or techniques for repairing such a file? I've tried the free version of All Media Fixer and it didn't work.

Try WAV Saver from www.railjonrogut.com.

Thanks for the tip. I'll leave the results here after I try it.
