Default Strip silence ???

Once you have used the strip silence feature you can end up with several tiny regions with space inbetween them. Is there a way to snap all those tiny regions together in one pass so the there is no space at all between them... jethro

Using Shuffle mode will save some time, but I'm affraid you'll still have to snap them alltogether one at a time (by hand...).

Hi there,
I believe there's something such as "consolidate region" (don't quote me on this), which takes several separate regions and turns it into one.
I'm not in front of PT now, but I've used this once. Let me try this tomorrow and get back to you.

Cheers

consolidate region command doesnt do what he wants it to.
that will only make one file fromhis many regions, but will not move them closer together,
I think this is a deed best done by hand.

Hey Jetro, before you begin snaping your hundreds regions by hand (if you've not already started), what kind of thing are you working on that require such a process. The reason I'm asking this is :
#1-I'm curious...
#2-Sometimes there's no "direct tip" for what you wanna do, but, with a better idea of the whole process, some other options can be found.
