turntable > mbox 3 > macbook
hi, noob question here...
because i have the avid mbox 3, do i still need a dj mixer (or a phono pre amp) to get the levels up when i record vinyl from a turntable into pro tools (or maschine) for sampling? it would be nice if i could bypass the need of a djmixer/phono pre amp to save cash Peace! |

turntable > mbox 3 > macbook
The phono pre will apply the necessary RIAA eq curve needed to return vinyl to the proper spectral balance.
