Me too, and not only with NI. It must be a PT issue.

I've had that occasionally with maybe 80% of my synths, but it does appear more pronounced in Kontakt.

I use Kontakt in almost every project. Never had it happen to me. Knock wood... Rarely use a keyboard controller tho. I do own a Yamaha P250 tho and never had it happen.

I do love the sound of NI Monark, but I can hardly use it as notes get stuck around twice a minute. AAX. Retriggering the stuck note and thus sending out another note off message fixes the hanging note, but it is so annoying. In my opinion it has to do with note off messages not being recognized.

Problem is PT does NOT send note off messages; it only sends note on and note length. No note off message.

Don't understand your question.
But if I had to hazard a guess at what you are asking no note off MIDI message as it's generally known is ever sent in PT from a MIDI track.

Not really a true note off MIDI message but a workaround to get one. And this can lead to a disaster if not done right.
