Default Visual Glitch - Moving Clips / Plugin (1/2 Track Off?)

See the attached image

Started in PT 2018.10 (I use Win 10, NVidia card).

Plugins don't want to "seat" properly when inserting them (or moving them)

And clips drop half a track down when sliding or nudging.

Attaching a screen shot might help. Having said that, it sounds like a graphics problem, not a Pro Tools problem. I would start by getting the latest nVidia driver from the nVidia site(not from the site of the card manufacturer if its like PNY or Asus or any other 3rd party). If that doesn't help, I would pull and re-seat the graphics card(or maybe try it in a different slot). Also, if this is a separate card, but the computer also has on-board graphics(built into the motherboard), I would go into BIOS and disable the on-board graphics(at least as a test).

Having said all this, I have used ONLY nVidia cards for 10 years and I have never seen this issue here(but read about it a couple of times)

I tried to attach a screen shot - it asked for a URL - I gave it the URL and it attached it as a link.

The image is there if you click on the link. Please take a look and let me know.

I find no link Did you try updating the graphics driver as I suggested? That's step #1, no matter what else.

Just use the paperclip icon right next to the font size and colour options when you write a post and point to the location of the image on your computer.

Press edit on your post and add the image.

I get the same problem when moving clips. I have had this on each version after 2018.4 (which works fine). I am using Windows 7 with NVidia card (with current updated driver). I assumed it was tied in with Windows 7 but I see that the original post is using windows 10. It would be great to find a solution.

I thought this issue was tied to win7... disable transparency in view/clip menu and it should work OK (at the cost of loosing transparency)
