Mac Mini 6,2 (Late 2012) with PT19.6

I've installed Pro Tools 2019.6 on Mac Mini 6,2 (Late 2012) Mojave 10.14.5,
and it seems that everything is working fine.

Despite the fact that it is not supported.

What I missed?
What might go wrong?

You missed nothing. Avid can't possibly officially test every possible combo of computer and operating system. What do you have inside that Mini hardware wise? SSD for system drive? CPU?

Hey there...

It worked fine for me, but there are times when the beach-ball arrives, and it just takes a bit longer. I only had 16gb of Ram, so...I can tell you I just upgraded to a 2018 3.0 version, with 32gb of Ram - night and day. I can't believe how quick everything happens, from start up to opening files, etc...

You might have better luck than me though, you never know what other issues you have sometimes with a computer you've had awhile.\

What do you have inside that Mini hardware wise? SSD for system drive? CPU?

I have a Mac Mini 6,2 (Late 2012), i7 4x2,6 GHz, 16 RAM.

I've got an answer from Avid Customer Care:
"You can upgrade your Pro Tools to the latest version as long as it meets the minimum system requirements and OS version."

What confusing me is that my computer is not "Supported Apple Computers" in the Pro Tools 2019 System Requirements page.

Supported and not working is 2 different things as Jack (Musicman691) pointed out so try and see, have a backup of everything and you should have that anywayz. If it works it works. Not supported means if you have problems Avid won’t be able to provide assistance.
