Default New One - ERROR 7400

Here's a new one for me.... nothing has changed over here, same system, another day of work, doing the same things, and all of a sudden THIS Starts happening to me.

My pluggins are made inactive when the session loads, due to "Insufficient system resources" and when I try to enable the pluggin by CTRL+START+CLICK I get the 7400 error that is shown in the above linked jpg.

The answerbase only mentions OS X, I'm on my PC XP PRO ansd this error happens with several of the digirack plugins, the BF1176, the Sony.Oxford.inflator -, I'm sure more, but I'm not going to try all of them, there's obvioustly a problem here with PT.

this is the same machine I've been working on faithfully, dailly for almost a year, with no new Hardware, or software installations.

Any thoughts ??

That happens to me a lot too...
What i do to work around: Move the song folder that you got the error to another disk or partition... Then the error does not appear anymore.

Peace

HMM...that's an odd little bug, I wonder if it's a HD health status thang ?

Oddly enough, I backed up a bunch of sessions on DVD, defraged all my work drives, Updated windows (2 new critical system updates) and all of my problems went away.

I'll remember to move the session to a different partition if this happens again, in the heat of battle.

Thanks for the tip.

This did work, but what the hell is causing the error???
I "Save Copy of" to my system drive the session opened like always. So I copied the "Save Copy of" session back to the audio drive, opened it and the error was back very strange. "sampletank and autotune"

Also a question i been wanted to ask.........
When I upg'ed from 5.3 to 6.1, on openning sessions some of the digirack plug-ins did not load........something about "Plug not found in folder" But the plug-in where there in the RTAS list and Audiosuite list. just had to re-insert them. Kinda sucks because I had the find all the presets again. It still does this with 6.4 on older sessions.

this also happens to me intermittenly w various plugs. today its the BF pultec. 2 days ago it was ALL the blue tubes plugs. this has only happened in 6.4. i highly doubt its the plugs fault since it happens to different ones at different times. ill try the moving session thing and see if that works.
