music production toolkit incomplete
Hi I'm new to the forum. I just installed the music production toolkit and I didn't recieve the iLok authorizations for the following:TL Aggro
TL Auto pan TL Drum Rehab TL Space TDM It also appears that I have not gained the extra track count that is promised with this toolkit. Can anyone explain why? |

You have to purchase them seperately. TL Space TDM is no need for you. Yours is the TL Space Native! How many Tracks did you expect to get? |

Re: music production toolkit incomplete
According to this page:
MPT2 You shouldn't have any of those plugins. The track count increase should happen. There is something that gets installed (maybe as a plugin) and the authorization on your iLok..

Re: music production toolkit incomplete
Just to double check, make sure that your system is qualified to run
the extra tracks, they are not automatic with Protools 7 or 8. Your system still needs to be qualified. Digi offers various combinations of bundled software, thats why there will be extra stuff in there... Thats what i was told a while back |

For my setup, which is PT8 with MPT2, I'm getting 64 tracks as advertised. There is a file called "MusicProductionToolkit.bundle" installed in the folder: <system drive>/Applications/Digidesign/ProTools I'm guessing that you need that file and the Music Production Toolkit authorization on your iLok to enable the expanded track counts...

Re: music production toolkit incomplete
See this page and the linked pages there for more information on installation and what is included:
www.digidesign.com/toolkitupgrades Without knowing what version of Pro Tools you are using, it is difficult to give you more exact information. It is possible that you simply haven't installed the actual Music Production Toolkit for your version of Pro Tools. You can find the most recent versions here: www.digidesign.com/support/mptk

Re: music production toolkit incomplete
I have the same issue with the track count. I am running M-Powered PT8 on a macboook pro and purchased the MPT2. I am able to run the plugins that came with it but if I try and open more than 32 stereo Instrument tracks it says that is more than the maximum number of tracks I can use?
How do I gain access the the extra tracks? I dont even have the 48 that is suposed to come with PT8? |

Re: music production toolkit incomplete
If your music production toolkit is installed, updated to the right version, and your ilok contains the necessary key, than you automatically have the extra track count. So I guess it's still some authorization oddness going on there.
