Zoom Toggle changed in v12

Hi,

In PT11, hitting E used to make the zoomed track go to the top of the edit window. I can't seem to get this functionality in v12.4. I'm missing it - tracks at the bottom now zoom unhelpfully off the bottom of the screen!

Any ideas? I've played with the options in preferences.

What happens now in 12? I can't remember Zoom Toggle not putting first selected track at the top of the edit window. Following tracks may be visible depending on your preferences.

Hi, thanks for chiming in.

I've just had another play with all the preferences, and I still can't get it to work like how it used to. Its a big step back IMHO.

Currently the only way to make the zoom toggled track go to the top is to choose 'fit to window' from track height, but I really like it taking up the whole screen - I want to see the track in context, with some other tracks around it.

But if you use anything other than 'fit to window', tracks can enlarge off the bottom of the screen where they aren't visible. Madness! : )

Any ideas?
