Default Waveform

I incorrectly worded the previous post on this topic. What happened was that I accidentally hit a zoom button (top of the scroll bar on the edit screen). This caused the audio tracks to lose a lot of the waveform and become more block-like. When I tried to correct it by hitting the button again, it just got worse.

Every track that I created in the same composition after I hit that button appears as the default waveform. It's not that I am in block view. When I try to zoom out, it zooms out the entire page as opposed to an individual track.

How do I correct it so that these tracks appear as normal?

Thanks

Default Re: Waveform

In fact it's not a real zoom it's a waveform magnifier (I know it sounds funny!).It has effects only on the waveform (you use it to get more details on low level waveform.)....
Anyway the solution...
I'm not in front of PT right now but you have four buttons on the top of the edit windows (the one with the 5 zoom presets).
There is one arrow to the left, one button with a waveform, a third one with MIDI notes and a fourth one with a right arrow.
So click on the second button (the one with the wave form!) ON THE BOTTOM END OF THE BUTTON.Then you're waveform should "decrease".

Hope it solves your issue.

Good luck.
