Monitor Hiss
I just bought a Glyph GT-050Q and I have it daisy chained with my FireWire 410. It seems the the 410 is now causing my monitors to let out an awful hissing noise. When I unplug it from the hard drive the hiss stops and it is only through the monitors, not the headphones. Here is my setup:
MacBook Pro 15" 3.06GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 8GB RAM Mac OS X 10.6.1 Pro Tools M-Powered 8.0.3 M-Audio Firewire 410 Glyph GT-050Q 500GB Anyone else experience anything like this? I know a lot of people have had problems with the 410, but mine has been going strong for almost 4 years. I'm starting to think I may need to upgrade my interface situation, but if that is not necessary I would really like to solve this problem. Suggestions? |
