Upgrading Pro Tools 12.7.1 to 12.8.3
I'm running macOS High Sierra 10.13.2 on my iMac and I have a Pro Tools 12 perpetual license. My "Upgrades" and "Pro Tools Plan" expired on April 3rd 2017. I want to upgrade my Pro Tools version from 12.7.1 to 12.8.3. Is my only option buying a 1-year Subscription plan? It seems illogical to pay for a year just to get an update, do I also get to use latest version for the time I'm subscribed? What are my options to get this update? Thanks in advance

Hi, The subscription will only get you the latest version which is Pro Tools 2018.12 (and the upcoming 2019 version) for a year, if you purchase an Annual Subscription. You have another option and that is to purchase a Reinstatement/Upgrade plan which will give you license for Pro Tools 10, 11, 12 and the latest version 2018.12 and new versions coming in for a year. https://www.avid.com/pro-tools/upgrades-and-renewals for more info |
