Auto Scrolling + Audition from Region Bin = PitN
I am wondering if this is a bug or if this is truely how the system is supposed to work because it's driving me insane!
When in Auto Scroll if you audition a file from the region bin the session hops back to the head of the session. If I use the audition function and the file is not on the time line why would it automatically revert to 00:00:00:00? Why can't protools stay at the cursor position? I really like both of the functions, but put together it wastes my time, so I just don't get to use one or the other. Any comments? javascript:void(0)

Change your preference to show the region in the playlist when you select the region in the Region List.

Re: Auto Scrolling + Audition from Region Bin = Pi
Thanks for trying however, this preference does not seem to exist on my system...
PT v6.4.1 OS X. I would love to know where it is if it does. Thanks. Also this only occurs with insertion follows playback function and scroll after playback enabled. Any more tips and hints? Thanks, Justin

Re: Auto Scrolling + Audition from Region Bin = Pi
Ok - So I spent quite a bit of time looking for "show the region in the playlist when you select the region in the region List" under the 'region bin' aka the "audio bin" or "the column on the right side of my monitor." (I hope...)
I have found jack, and frankly I am starting to feel like a punk. Anymore quick tips you throw my direction might have a little bit more info attached to the step by step path to finding this function. Don't get me worng, I appreciate the assistance, but my frustration is building. Thanks guys.

Re: Auto Scrolling + Audition from Region Bin = Pi
Thanks for the directions "lemix." It at least gives me a good place to go for my next test of the fix. If it does not correct, I'll be back with more refined directions in order to recreate the issue. If not I'll post a hooray! Thanks to all.
