Default Cycle thru EQs in Expanded Knob Mode

Hi,

Is there a way to cycle through EQs in expanded knob mode (ie. we have an EQ expanded to knob zone 1 and dynamics expanded to knob zone 2. we want to cycle to the next EQ on the strip in knob zone 1).

Thanks,
Matt

Yes that would be very much useful!
Fingers crossed for 3.8

Also is there any way to get the current plugin window opened in PT that is on the expanded knob module?

Thanks Eddie!!
Exactly what I was looking for :) Missed that setting.

Is there a way to close the plug window too on the soft keys?
Also could the attention expand option be turned on/off as a programmed soft key?

Yes, both those are available as Softkeys. They are in the PT default softkey layout (somewhere), I'm not in front of an S6 at the moment but let me know if you can't find them.

Greetings,

Just for clarity sake - here's the preference I think we are all referring to and the variation of what you can choose to open:

stefanboman: There are local Soft Key functions on the Extras page to enable and disable on the fly the Attention Expand Knob and Attention Expand Fader Zones:

All of these topics are discussed in the S6 Operation document 3.7 - which is where I grabbed these images from.

best,

Jeff

While rummaging around, trying to figure out how to cycle eq/dyn myself, I did find a (sort of) workaround with this.

Cycling the plugins on the channel strip itself (e.g. double-tap 'Dyn' or 'EQ') will also cycle them in the expand knob zones as well. The only problem with this is the strip you attentioned isn't alway on the same strip. Using 'Always auto-bank to selected track' will always bring it up on the same strip (depending on justification mode), but this doesn't work in layout mode, which is a deal breaker for me.

On a related note, it would be nice if there was an option to enable expand knob zones when attentioning a track. And then, disable expand knob zones when un-attentioning the track.
