Default Éucon bug with Fader layouts?

When I'm mixing I'm normally dealing with lots of tracks(100 and up) part of how I like to manage things is, as I'm working on a scene or section I'll hide empty tracks so I can have all sound elements more or less adjacent to each other on the time line (makes for better visualization and easier to grab blocks of faders) ...so far so good?...what I've discovered is this (and it's not consistent either) say I've hidden tracks 2-5-7 so tracks 1-3-4-6-8 are all adjacent to each other...however when I look at the artist mix pack not all the faders follow the same order, in protools they are but not on the fader packs. The faders on the Artiist Mix still keep the hidden tracks on the mixer, unfortunately this issue is not consistent either... anyone else seen this?

Are the faders in question set to Auto track assignment? IIRC when I use show/hide groups the hidden tracks disappear from the surface. Otherwise it would really mess with my head....

I belive they are set to auto track assignment...hmm...makes me think of something else....I have 2 mix units..the 2nd unit usually has fixed vca's assigned to it...maybe that's what's causing the issue? I'll experiment..

I usually leave a Control set to VCAs and the Mix to "Auto".

It's the mix pack that's set to auto that I've been getting the intermittent issue with...I'll see what happens if I set all the units to auto if the issue still happens..
