Command Focus Mode question

1) How do you Enable/Disable groups in CFM?

2) Is there a key command to toggle CFM on/off?

COMMAND SHIFT G enables/disables all groups

When you're in Commands Focus Mode, you can only enable/disable groups by clicking on them in the Groups list. However, if you want to quickly toggle between the focus modes then use:

Command-Option-1 to enable Commands Focus
Command-Option-2 to enable Audio Region Focus
Command-Option-3 to enable MIDI Region Focus
Command-Option-4 to enable Group Focus

Now you can toggle your groups on and off without having to go back to the mouse!

Where did you get those key commands? I cannot find them on the "ProTools Keyboard Shortcuts" pdf?

It's just something that I picked up on the way ;-). You're right, it's a pretty obscure shortcut that doesn't even appear in the Complete Pro Tools Shortcuts book!

Gee .... one has to wonder what other "PT's obscurities" lie out there ... ?? Might you have any more to pass on?

Good tip though ... ! What is the "Complete PT's Shortcuts Book" you refer to? 3rd party publication or Digi? Is it available in pdf?

It's a third-party publication (in book form and not available as a pdf ASAIK) written by a very knowledge guy in LA called Chilitos:

The Complete Pro Tools Shortcuts By Jose "Chilitos" Valenzuela

As to any other obscure shortcuts, if I can can think of some more unusual ones I'll post them here!
