When I saw this thread I went oh cool, opened pro tools tried it and went.. oh snap.. I was already on it. Was hoping that someone had found a way to make it even bigger

Does this trick work on Windows?? Is there any other way to achieve this without the CLAW method?

It does work on windows, and no it's the only way to do it (ctrl+start+alt+click on the level meter)

Depends on the context of "phat" being used.

In this case, your context of "fat" is being used in a term indicating the large sound you are initiating with the meters. "Phat" would indicate that "Man, thats awesome" [for the hip hippys =oD ]

With that said.... you're explaination of this method seems a bit dry, is there a way you could show a screen shot of peripherals?
