How to I transfer ownership of LE?

Hi

I have have a Digi002R factory, I have also recently acquired an M-Audio Profire 2626. As the Profire is a much better interface I am now considering PTMP.

If I wanted to sell the Digi 002R and PTLE 8, but NOT the factory plugins - so I can continue to use them with PTMP, how could I do that? Can I transfer ownership of PTLE only?

Your factory plugins are separate, and authorized by Ilok, so they're the same as 3rd party plugins. You can keep them.

You can just sell the 002 with the basic protools LE software. There is a transfer of ownership form on the Digi website you can download. You can sell it without doing that, also. The main benefit to the buyer is they can then participate in any trade up programs with Digi.

You should think about just keeping the profire and using it through the adat ins of the 002. That way you'll still get the benefit of its preamps and converters, if thats what you like about it. You'll lose alot selling the 002 rack used, and M-powered is a little more limited (no DV toolkit or Complete toolkit option, no trade up programs).
