New vocal libraries for EWQL

For those who use East West libraries, they've added a couple of nice vocal libraries to their line-up, all available with their subscription. Voices of Soul is out now. It has some really great sounding phrases and other vocals that can be used in a variety of creative ways. The other one Voices of Opera is due out this "Winter", whenever that will be. The promo samples sound really cool though.

As to Voices of Winter and release date? Treat anything that the site says with a HUGE grain of salt. Doug & company have a very long history of missing announced dates. But of history: back when EWQLSO was one of their few products and they were still using Kontakt as their engine they announced the release date for PRO XP update/expansion for Symphonic Orchestra. They missed the date by almost 18 months.

I know that! When they announced "Voices of the Empire" last year, the promo made it sound like release was imminent. In reality it was more like 5-6 months! That doesn't change the fact that it is a dynamite plugin though!

I agree, Patrick. The "Voices of Soul" one (out now), has some really cool riffs and phrases in it. The vocals are really well done and, well, "soulful"...


In the right mix, could add a lot of emotional power!
