Unable to Open Session Komplete Audio 6

I am having a lot of trouble with this audio interface in Pro Tools 11.

I believe it is related to the sample rate, and the inability to set it in the ASIO control panel.

At first I was getting 'unable to initialize audio device' but I got around this by selecting it by holding 'n' and changing a few settings including 'ingore errors'

Now I am in the seesion, and everthing looks normal, all outputs are showing in the I/O panel, however playback does not work. The program basically crashes. please help.

The audio interface works completely fine in Reaper

Do you get error message when PT 11 crashed?

I'm having a similar issue. It's always been temperamental to change sample rates with PT and the Komplete Audio 6. But recently, with PT 12.1, it simply will not play a session I have at 41. It will work with 48 sessions.

All other audio software will switch sample rates no problem. Only PT has an issue.

I'm running PT 12.1, Win 7 64-bit, and the KA6 with the latest drivers.

Any other thoughts?

On Window, try making your onboard soundcard the default for Windows sounds/audio and leave the KA6 - or whatever interface you're using for Pro Tools - only for Pro Tools.

Also note, with some/most third party interfaces and Pro Tools, it's a two step process to change bit/sample rates: interface then Pro Tools.
