hotkey to trigger "Back and Play"

Hi,


My favorite button! My question: is there a hotkey to trigger it?



I am aware of the following ways:

• Button on the D-Command/Control (best! no lag)
• EuCon / Transport / Back and Play (kind of laggy, esp when pressing multiple times)
• Right Click on Rewind in PT Transport Window (great but requires mousing AND keyboarding)

try keyboard maestro to set this up. I'm sure it would work!

Hmmm, 2 taps on Spacebar works(as long as Insertion Follows Playback is not lit) . Also, I have a Presonus Faderport(second-best $100 I ever spent) and hitting PLAY while transport is rolling will restart from the previous start point, regardless of Insertion Follows Playback being being on or off.

Back and Play is different from just restarting playback from previous start.

As previous poster mentioned, Keyboard Maestro will handle easily.
