Protools acting very sluggish
Hi
After upgrading to PT7.1cs5 prootools started to acting strange. The spinning beachball appears very often, almost everytime I press stop, or even play, and when I save when a song is running I get this annoying ball. And most of the VI stops playing while the ball is spinning but starts again when the ball disappears. This is the first major problems I´ve encountered with PT during the almost 10 years I´ve been using Digi soft/hardware. When upgrading to 7.1cs6 things got even worse with the software crashing on save sometimes. Very starange. Anyone else having this problem? Or similar. Please let me know G5,2.3DP: 4.5GBRAM; HD5 accel; 16 fader PC; 4x 192; SyncI/O; OS10.4.4; PT7.1cs6 Regards / mike |

Re: Protools acting very sluggish
Trash all Digi Databases on every drive. Usually this fixes the sluggish thing. Worth a try.
